A Tradition of Excellence

Every February, coinciding with Black History Month, the Jones High School Historical Society alongside the Orlando community comes together for Tiger Pride Day. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the profound legacy, achievements, and enduring spirit of Jones High School.

Tiger Pride Day transforms our historic campus and surrounding neighborhoods into a massive family reunion. We honor the trailblazers who paved the way, support the current students making their mark today, and welcome back generations of alumni who proudly wear the Orange and Green.

What to Expect

  • The Marching Tigers: Experience live, show-stopping performances from our legendary marching band.
  • Alumni Tailgates: Reconnect with classmates, share memories, and celebrate decades of unbreakable Tiger bonds.
  • Museum Tours: Walk through the physical archives and see newly curated exhibits maintained by the Historical Society.
  • Community Awards: Honoring distinguished alumni and local leaders who continue to uplift the Orlando community.
